To see the presentation schedule
for your class,
select the day and time period of your class.
Class presentations are exercises in reading comprehension,
organization of information, practicing oral skills, presentation
of information, and peer teaching. Each student will develop a
three-minute presentation using a short section of information from
the oceanography textbook. Students will read the assigned section,
determine how to present the salient points in a concise manner,
and present the material on the assigned day.
All of the points for the exercise, 3 points, are
earn by completing the presentation.
The presentation can include any method that would
help the class understand the information: examples, use of chalkboard,
overheads, etc. You can check with the instructor to see if he
has overheads available.
Consult with the instructor if you have questions
or if you would like to discuss your presentation.
Note that the schedule is subject to change.
