OCN 201 - Presentations

To see the presentation schedule for your class, select the day and time period of your class.

Class presentations are exercises in reading comprehension, information organization, oral skills, information presentation, and peer teaching. Each student will develop a concise three-minute digital presentation using a short section of information from the oceanography textbook. Students will read the assigned section, determine how to present the salient points in a concise manner, and present the material on the assigned day.

All of the points for the exercise, 5.0 points, are earn by completing the presentation.

The digital presentation will be created using Keynote or PowerPoint. Appropriate graphics are available on the Internet and from the instructor.

Consult with the instructor if you have questions or if you would like to discuss your presentation.

Note that the schedule is subject to change.
